Forager's Snack Mix

This one's for the adventurers that are stranded in the wilderness with no supplies! A savory snack sure to keep you energized. No utensils or knives needed!


Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes

  • 1 cup halved or whole raw pecans

  • 1 cup whole raw almonds

  • 2 T olive oil

  • 2 springs fresh rosemary

  • 1/2 t garlic salt

  • Salt and pepper


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350°F.

  2. Line a baking sheet in parchment.

  3. Pile the pecans and almonds in the center of your baking sheet.

  4. Drizzle the nuts with olive oil and pull the leaves of 2 sprigs of rosemary onto the pile.

  5. Season with garlic salt, salt, and pepper, and toss by hand until well combined.

  6. Spread out on parchment and roast for 15 minutes until aromatic.

  7. Allow to cool at least 10 minutes before serving.

  8. Add any additional seasoning to taste.

  9. Enjoy around the campfire or across the next few days of travel!


*Feel free to use your favorite nuts in this recipe! I recommend using raw nuts, but you can use toasted. Avoid using any nuts that are salted or seasoned.
